A visibly shifted Love threw a make up streamlined that almost hit the interviewer and the Material Girl herself, as chronicled in Rolling Stone magazine. Subsequently the”Celebrity Skin” rocker climbed up the staircase into the attic overlooking the 1995 MTV VMAs and joined the conversation. The”Like a Virgin” singer stated,”Courtney Love is in dire need of attention at this time.” She also made a crack about Love’s drug usage. Madonna was eventually pulled off the stage.Response from the entire world: It made headlinesbut the public seemed to shrug it off as Courtney being Courtney. Her Response? The”Vogue” singer never commented on Love’s interview disturbance. [embedded content]2. Farrah FawcettWhen? 1997Why cringeworthy? The icon was visiting David Letterman and made talk show history for all the wrong reasons. Farrah Fawcett may happen to be seated from Letterman on his iconic talk series, but she appeared to be mentally far, far away. The former star of Charlie’s Angels was there to promote her appearance in Playboy and a tie-in Pay-Per-View special (All of Me). She had been late on account of the simple fact that there were”people, plenty of people.” Then, as CNN chronicled, the pop culture icon appeared to have lost in the New York City facade, which is the set supporting Letterman. She told Letterman,”Wow. I really thought I had been looking from the window. “Her Response? She did not ever bring it up, however, the icon certainly was conscious enough during the actual Q&A to point out to Letterman,”You’re making fun of me”
[embedded content]3. Ben AffleckWhen? Ben Affleck requested an interviewer to perform the Q&A topless! Not only did he state that people could”like the series better if you did it topless” and that he found that”you usually demonstrate a lot more cleavage than that,” but he was also physically throughout the reporter. Her Response? Years later, when asked about the awkward interview, Losique actually defended the Oscar winner saying that the entire thing was taken from context. She told E! News,”Nothing incorrect ever occurred. I never believed at one point uncomfortable and I never felt at any given point that it was improper, and when I’d felt that, very honestly I wouldn’t have continued.” [embedded content]4. Tom CruiseWhen? 2005Why so cringeworthy? Tom Cruise jumped all over a iconic talk show host’s sofa announcing that he had been”in love” with Katie Holmes. The adoring leap left a seismic mark on pop culture. Cruise was on the show to promote his Steven Spielberg movie, War of the Worlds. Instead, the conversation became all about his love affair with Holmes while treating the couch like a trampoline.Response from the entire world: Judging by the lack of a dent in his box office receipts, the global community just shrugged it off as celebrity being Cruise. After all, the Scientologist wasn’t known to be ordinary. His Response? He said that he wouldn’t take back a thing, as chronicled in The Hollywood Reporter. After all, love does make us do crazy things. It’s even possible that the couch jumping made Cruise more popular. His subsequent movies like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Mission Impossible: Fallout were bonafide blockbusters of the highest order.
[embedded content]5. Jerry Seinfeld has been interviewed by Larry King (who worked for CNN at the time) along with the journalist mentioned something about Seinfeld’s iconic series being cancelled. Seinfeld wasn’t cancelled. In reality, the superstar comic walked off from his series as it was still the best rated comedy on television. The comic appeared to be majorly offended by this. Seinfeld said,”You think I have cancelled? Is this still CNN? Would you know who I am? Geez, can we receive my resume in here? “How’d the world react to the interview? The legendary newsman, in his later years, wasn’t immune to some questionable inquiries. However, some believed that Seinfeld had overreacted by calling out King and making it a big deal. Others, like Reuters, sided with the comic and termed that moment as one of Larry King’s worst interview moments. [embedded content]6. The KardashiansWhen? 2011Why so cringeworthy? Barbara Walters was interviewing the Kardashian clan at the end of 2011 within her annual look at the 10 most intriguing people of the year. The trailblazing journalist declared the lack of talent in the cast of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Kris Jenner — and brothers Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian — clearly didn’t agree. After Walters’ comment, you can hear a pin drop! She added,”You do not really act; you do not sing; you do not dance. You do not have some, forgive me, any talent.” Khloe defended her entire family and their series,”But we are still entertaining people. “Her Response? The family told Walters’ producers that nothing newsworthy would occur before the special aired. Wrong! After finding out Kim got divorced, Walters stated to a amused David Letterman on The Late Show,”Subsequently Kourtney gets pregnant. You can’t trust the Kardashians.”
[embedded content]7. Charlie SheenWhen? 2011Why so cringeworthy? It was also among the first hashtags that could go viral. Listening to the interview with Andrea Canning, it’s apparent that the soon-to-be-fired from 2 and a Half Men star was anything but winning. He confessed to having a steady diet of tiger blood and also described himself in the most uncommon of manners. “I am on a drug. It’s named Charlie Sheen,” he told Canning as he then issued a warning. “It’s not accessible since in the event that you attempt it you will perish. Your face will melt off and your children will weep on your exploded body.” The journalist appeared worried for the celebrity, even asking at a point if he had been bi-polar. He responded,”I’m bi-winning. I triumph here, I triumph there. Sheen’s recently created Twitter accounts set a Guinness World Record for fastest to a million followers (at that time), based on Huffington Post. For a while after that interview, his millions of followers fawned over everything he said. One of his gems was,”I’ve a 10,000-year-old brain along with also the boogers of a 7-year-old. That is the way I describe myself,” and, of course, the one about the infamous blood of a certain jungle cat. In a written statement,’please forgive us all for being such obvious impostors. Clearly you, Mr. Sheen, possess the only real tiger blood in the known world’ And they’d been warned.” [embedded content]8. Justin BieberWhen? Justin Bieber sometimes does not manage the pressures of fame with absolute grace. Remember when he destroyed a paparazzi’s camera (or fought him)? He called into Mojo in the Morning since the”Sorry” singer had a problem with his brand new music being compared to Justin Timberlake’s. “Man, that’s crazy’cause our voices sound nothing alike. I mean, I’m not trying to sound like anybody. Saying I seem like somebody else isn’t really a compliment. … I think if you were to say I heard a few Justin Timberlake-esque items on your audio I would take that as a compliment,” he said, according to MTV News. Hey, there are artists to be in comparison to… but alas, things got worse as soon as the radio character asked,”Can you fret about Harry Styles around your mother, since he likes older women?” Bieber snapped,”I think you should worry about me around your mother, bro.” The audio listeners (and that radio host) discovered next was Bieber’s dial tone. His Response? Not much. For what it’s worth, the DJ went on Twitter to state that he had been suspended over the episode.
[embedded content]9. Jesse EisenbergWhen? The interviewer, Romina Puga of Univision, requested Jesse Eisenberg to perform a card trick on cue and also asked him to state her name to the camera. The celebrity of Now You See Me took crime, saying that it made him feel like a trained monkey. He probably should have seen that”say my name” ask a mile off — after all, the title of Puga’s series is Say My Name with Romina. From the get-go, the interview was tense. She called Morgan Freeman as Freeman, to which Eisenberg stated,”Freeman? What are you on a baseball team with him?” However, the awkwardness was just getting started, and he called her the Carrot Top of interviewers for writing notes on her hand. The Social Network celebrity also used her interview time to inquire how the material was likely to be used. When asked to state her name, Eisenberg uttered it quietly. She requested him to state it like he was looking for her in a bunch. He testily responded,”The thing is I actually did not wish to find you.” Obviously angry, Puga retorted with”You’re such a jerk. Nothing. Another day at the office for your actor. Her Response? Puga stated in The Daily Mail that she felt”humiliated” and”butchered.” [embedded content]10. “What Super Bowl advertisement?” Jackson responded. Turns out Jackson wasn’t in an advertisement, but Laurence Fishburne was! The reporter had to know he was in to it when Jackson began his response with,”Oh, hell no more…” — oh no. Anyone who has seen Jackson in some of his interviews or roles knows that he can light off like a firecracker when triggered like he had been by Rubin. “There is more than one black guy doing a commercial,” Jackson fired off at Rubin as Rubin visibly squirmed. His Response? Rubin apologized profusely during the interview and tried to move on, but Jackson was ticked, and the entire interview was massively off the railings. Following the televised portion of the interview, Rubin publicly apologized and stated,”I’m very embarrassed about it.”
[embedded content]11. Most everybody can identify with the need to shout,”Mom!” sometimes. But most people aren’t embarrassed by mother on the red carpet of the Academy Awards… with countless millions of people watching! As OK! Chronicled, Dakota Johnson and her mother, Melanie Griffith, had ceased to chat with journalist Lara Spencer. The reporter asked Griffith if she had observed Fifty Shades of Grey. The veteran actress said that even though she supported her daughter’s decision to perform the movie, she could not see it due to the graphic nudity and sex. Johnson added,”I do not think it would be odd. I think, 1 day, maybe it is possible to see it.” Her mum’s face said it all. Johnson wasn’t happy whatsoever. She then snapped, “Alright! You do not need to see it. Jesus Christ. “Their Response? Nothing! Either side of the matter probably wanted this item to fade off. [embedded content]12. Ariana GrandeWhen? 2015Why so cringeworthy? She called out the host on being sexist when he made a comment about all women loving their phones and makeup. Grande immediately deciphered,”Is this guys assuming that is what girls would need to choose between?” The”Bang Bang” singer’s jaw must not have dropped that way because she quickly retorted,”Boys, learn. Boys and girls, we could all know.”
[embedded content]13. R. KellyWhen? There are train wrecks, and then there is R. Kelly. It was the first interview that the singer had given since his most recent rates of sexual misconduct — aggravated criminal sexual assault between minors. He was being interviewed on CBS This Morning and became totally unhinged. As chronicled in The Washington Post, the”I Believe I Can Fly” hitmaker hovered over the host since he cried at the camera,”I’ve been assassinated, buried alive! But I’m alive!” He continued,”I did not do that stuff. This isn’t me! I’m fighting my f–king life! You’re all trying to kill me” After the topic of the doc Surviving R. Kelly came up,” he stated,”They had been describing Lucifer. I’m not Lucifer. I’m a guy; I make errors. But I’m not a devil and by no means am I a monster. “Response from the entire world: If clearing his name was his goal, yelling at the exact public wasn’t the way to go.His Response? He thought it went well. The journalist noted that the singer’s team believed that their client arrived off as”passionate” and that’s a fantastic thing. Her Response? The veteran journalist wasn’t afraid for her safety and wished to keep the interview moving. “My sole motivation at that point was,’Please do not let him leave.’ I really did believe it had been a breakdown. He was so angry. He moved from zero to a two into some six to an eight into a 12. All right before my eyes.” “I think people were amazed that in that moment I did not run from the room,” she told the Washington Post.
